Snoop Dogg Announced as Headliner for Riverside County 'Rhythm, Wine & Brews' Festival

INDIO, CA — Snoop Dogg will be the headliner at the Rhythm, Wine & Brews Experience, set to kick off the city of Indio's 2017 festival season next March, it was announced Tuesday.

Other acts to be featured at the March 4 concert include Pepper, the Expendables, Andy Frasco and the U.N. and Spankshaft, organizers said.

Craft beer and wine tastings are as much a part of the experience as the music at the annual festival. More than 80 breweries, wineries and food trucks were featured at this year's event.

The festival is held at the Empire Polo Grounds, where Indio hosts the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals, as well as last month's Desert Trip classic rock mega festival.

Tickets go on sale Nov. 15 at http://www.rwbexp.com/ . Prices have not been released, but ranged from $70 to $150 last time around.
