On Friday (May 17), Reagor, 17, took time out from sports to ink her agreement for a full scholarship to play volleyball at the University of Redlands. It was signed during a pep rally in the gym. Reagor will begin practicing volleyball at the University of Redlands on Aug. 15, and her classes will start on Sept.2.

“I feel blessed to receive this important opportunity and I do so in honor of my Nana,” Reagor said. “I would like to thank God, my parents, my teammates, and my coaches for their endless support. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me.”

Looking to the future

After undergraduate work, Reagor plans on earning her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and becoming a pharmacist.

As she prepares to graduate from Banning High, many fondly recall her days as a Bronco.

“Saudya is an achiever in the classroom and on the court,” said Principal Matt Valdivia. “She’s a great teammate and a student who encourages and supports everyone. Our entire Bronco family wishes her a bright future at the University of Redlands.”
