UPDATE: 'Summit Fire' on Banning Bench Fully Contained.
Containment of the so-called "Summit Fire" has been declared at 100 percent, fire officials said.
Updated aat 7:47 p.m.:
The so-called Summit Fire was fully contained Saturday evening, fire officials said, with burned acreage mapped at 3,166.
Some 400 firefighters throughout the day continued to improve the containment lines and kept a watchful eye out for any hot spots since the fire broke out near North San Gorgonio Avenue and Summit Drive on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The fire destroyed one home and left two firefighters with minor injuries, according to Riverside County fire's Jody Hagemann.
Residents and motorists were urged by firefighters Saturday to be careful when driving through the fire area and allow any emergency vehicle to pass through.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency authorized the use of federal funds to help fight the fire. The authorization makes FEMA funding available to reimburse 75 percent of some firefighting costs.
