The San Jacinto child on Friday was flown to a burn unit.

SAN JACINTO, CA -- A 2-year-old San Jacinto boy was seriously burned Friday when boiling water splashed onto him.
The scalding was reported about 4:40 p.m. at a house in the 1100 block of Sundew Way, just off Orchid Lane, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
A department official said paramedics arrived to find the toddler with``significant burns to the face and abdomen,'' apparently after boiling water spilled on him.
