Traffic Alert: Oak Valley Interchange Closures Coming
Beaumont motorists should plan ahead for these closures.
From the City of Beaumont: As part of the Oak Valley Signalization Project, multiple interchange closures are planned for the preparation and paving of the Oak Valley overcrossing. The closures are scheduled for Thursday, June 20; Friday, June 21; Tuesday, June 25; and Wednesday, June 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The paving project will require the closure of both eastbound and westbound ramps as well as the overcrossing.
During the temporary closures, Oak Valley Parkway will be closed to through traffic between Desert Lawn Drive and Golf Club Drive. Interstate 10 will be accessible by Beaumont Avenue, 6th Street and Cherry Valley Boulevard. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and expect delays at other area interchanges.
The Oak Valley Signalization Project is expected to be complete by mid-July. For questions regarding the project, please call the Beaumont Public Works Department at (951) 769-8522.
