Video Shows Daring Dirt Bike Rider Jump Across California Freeway

The video of the motorcyclist was posted to social media on Friday.

BEAUMONT, CA – A viral video of a person jumping a Southern California freeway was making the rounds Friday. The motorcyclist's daring – and potentially deadly – stunt was caught on camera and shared on Facebook.

The video clip, which is just under a minute long, was shot in an area known as The Badlands, between Beaumont and Moreno Valley. In the segment, the rider is seen as he first prepares the dirt path in the hilly pass and then as he jumps across four lanes of traffic on the 60 freeway below.

The video has since been shared more than a thousand times and received hundreds of comments. Many people appeared to be entertained by the footage, while others pointed out the potential for injuries to the rider and those below should the stunt have gone awry.
