SAN BERNARDINO, CA — An Inland Empire girl was reunited with her mother after she was kidnapped by a man her mother was in a relationship with, police announced on Tuesday.

The girl was reported missing last month and was reportedly taken by her mother's ex-boyfriend, who has no biological relationship with the girl and no legal custody rights to her, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.

The rescue and arrest were caught on police body cameras. The girl, whose age was not released, can be seen in the video taken out of the back of a squad car and inside the police station where her mother was waiting.
