WATCH: 2 Kids Get Special Birthdays, Thanks To RivCo Sheriff

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Although most traditional birthday celebrations have been rendered impossible by coronavirus shutdowns, emergency workers in Riverside County still found a way to make two kids' ninth birthdays special this week.

A video shared Thursday by the Cabazon Sheriff's Station shows a long procession of vehicles from the Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol and Morongo Emergency Services honking and blaring their sirens for Jakob, whose family invited the crews to come celebrate with them.

Within a few days, they were back at it again, coming out in force to give Callie a special ninth birthday.
