Remember, polls opened at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. in California. According to the Secretary of State, ballots being personally delivered must be handed in by the close of polls on June 7, 2016. Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before June 7 and received by your county elections office no later than June 10.

If you're dropping of your vote-by-mail ballot, you can take it to a polling location, or to the Riverside County Registrar's Office in Riverside. Voters can also vote in person at that office.

"Vote-by-mail ballots dropped off at polling places on Tuesday will be counted in the days following the election," the Riverside County office of the registrar said. "An estimated 150,000 ballots will remain to be counted after Election Day as a result of vote-by-mail ballots dropped off or postmarked on Tuesday and provisional ballots cast at the polling places."
