Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Riverside County
One lucky lottery player in Riverside County has a $492,603 ticket burning a hole in their pocket today.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A lottery ticket with five of the six winning numbers in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery drawing on Tuesday was sold in Riverside County, making one lucky person $492,603 richer.
There were no jackpot-winning tickets in this week's drawing, sending the jackpot for Friday's drawing to an estimated $400 million, according to the California Lottery.
Tuesday's winning ticket was sold at a Chevron station in Riverside at 3476 Van Buren Blvd. It was missing the Mega number.

The winning numbers were 27, 31, 50, 51, 61. The Mega number was 21. That missing Mega number cost Tuesday's San Fernando Valley winner the $370 million jackpot.

The ticket was one of two sold in California with five of the six winning numbers. The other was sold at Central Market at 11479 San Fernando Road in San Fernando.
The drawing was the 23rd in a row without a jackpot winner. That's no surprise given the odds: 302,575,350 to 1, according to the California Lottery.
