Woman's Body Found Near San Jacinto Roadway: Sheriff's Dept.

SAN JACINTO, CA – Sheriff's deputies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose body was found near a San Jacinto road over the weekend. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the body was reported at 5:57 a.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of Esplanade Avenue.

Investigators believed that the woman was a victim of a "motor vehicle related incident," according to Deputy Robert Himmelberg.

She's since been identified as 40-year-old Latoya Calhoun. Her city of residence was unknown as of Wednesday.

The Sheriff's Department urged anyone with information to call the San Jacinto station at (951) 654-2702.
