Yucaipa Denny's Employee Stole $48K from Eatery: Police
Sheriff's officials say the man stole more than $48,600 from the cash drawer of a local Denny's Restaurant.

YUCAIPA, CA- A Yuciapa man was arrested this week on suspicion of stealing nearly $50,000 from a local Denny's Restaurant, sheriff's officials say.
On Tuesday, San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies were called to the Denny's location at 33540 Yucaipa Blvd. when management noticed "some discrepancies during an audit," according to sheriff's Deputy K. Gallacher.
"Deputies found that Kelly Tittor was the Operations Manager of the Yucaipa restaurant and based on the audit, Tittor was implicated in the theft," Gallacher said in a news release.

"Further investigation found that since September 15, 2015, it is believed that Tittor stole over $48,600 from the cash drawer of Denny's Restaurant," the deputy added.
The 36-year-old man was ultimately arrested on embezzlement charges and taken to the San Bernardino County jail, the sheriff's department said.
