2 Men Arrested In Connection With Peninsula Home Break-In
BREAKING: The 19-year-olds from Redwood City were spotted jumping a fence into the house's yard by an alert citizen, police said.

REDWOOD CITY, CA – Two men were arrested in Redwood City Thursday night in connection with a residential burglary, according to police.
Police said officers responded to the 3600 block of Country Club Drive around 10 a.m. on reports of two suspicious men jumping the fence at a residence.
The department credited an alert citizen with calling in after seeing a vehicle she did not recognize parked in front of her neighbor's residence and the two males allegedly walk up the driveway and jump the fence into the side yard.

"The citizen immediately called 911 and provided a description of the subjects and their vehicle," police said.
According to police, when officers arrived the two suspects attempted to flee out the back of the house, and a foot pursuit ensued before both men were finally caught.

During an investigation, officers discovered the two men, identified as Anthony Pintarelli, 19, and Joshua Villanueva, 19, both of Redwood City, had allegedly used a rock to smash a glass door and enter the
residence. The suspects reportedly ransacked the residence before the police arrived.
A search of Pintarelli's vehicle yielded several items taken from the home as well as property taken from another residence in the area, on the 3600 block of Country Club Drive.
The victim in that burglary left his home at approximately 8:30 a.m. and returned at 1 p.m. and discovered a rear glass door had been smashed out and his home had been burglarized. The suspects took electronic equipment and jewelry from the residence., police said All the property was recovered.
Both suspects were taken into custody and booked into the San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of residential burglary.
