99% Rally Planned for Thursday in Belmont

Organizers say the focus of the Speak-out is "to tell our members of Congress that we'll stand with them if they'll stand with us."

Editor's Note: The following information was provided to Patch from a press release for a political rally organized by the Mid-Peninsula American Dream Council to be held in the southside parking lot of the Belmont Caltrain Station on Thursday, Dec. 1:

"The Mid-Peninsula American Dream Council is holding this rally to tell our members of Congress that we are still here, that we are not going away, that our moral outrage remains strong. We are here to tell our members of Congress that we will stand with them if they stand with us; that if they support jobs, not cuts, we will support them.

We will invite our local representatives to visit us at this rally and speak to their constituents.
