Davies credits "outstanding" pitching and solid offense to the success of the 13-member all-star team.

"Their pitching staff is exceptionally deep, and they are a great hitting team," Davies said on Wednesday. “It has been a frustrating experience for any team to compete with their prowess at the plate and on the pitcher's mound. What the boys have accomplished to this point is nothing short of amazing, and we are extremely proud of them."
