Belmont Subway Robbed Late Thursday Night
Two men flee on foot after taking cash; no injuries reported.
The Subway shop at 1602 El Camino Real was robbed Thursday night and police are still searching for the suspects.
Two men reportedly entered the shop at at approximately 8:40 p.m. Thursday and confronted the lone employee, demanding cash, Belmont police said.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the drawer and the men left the store and ran away on foot.

Police conducted an extensive check of the area, but couldn't find the suspects.
The first suspect was a white man, between 18-25 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches - 6 feet tall, 160-185 lbs, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, and blue jeans.

The second suspect was also a white man, between 18-25 years of age, approximately 5 feet 10 inches - 6 feeet 00 inches tall, 160-185 lbs, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored beanie or ski mask, and khaki or light denim pants.
