LIVE Music is Very Much Alive - In SM County

Review from Saturday nights show

An ethusiastic crowd packed the shiny new Kingston Cafe on 19 N. Kingston Ave. in San Mateo for some coffee house therapy.

Local music is back where it belongs, in the neighborhoods! thanks to organizer Jack Jackson, long time resident and manager of the nearby Bay Media Arts (lat 147 N. Kingston Ave) studios. Local folk-rock veterans and rising stars filled the air with super fine Americana, Folk, Bluegrass and a tasty sample of old time rock n roll and blues.

The husband and wife team of entreprenuers behind the beautiful cafe, were gracious hosts and served up mouth waterng hot, homemade meatball sandwiches and other delectables you definitely won't see in the coffee chains.
