Measure R is an absolute MUST for the school district, the residents and will have a positive impact on our property values. Whatever money we receive from the state, the state can take back. Money that is raised locally CANNOT be taken from us. The funds raised are crucial in keeping the school district running at its most basic level. BRSSD is the fastest growing school district in Northern California. It can barely keep up with enrollment at the elementary school level and we only have one middle school in which all the kids eventually feed into. In order to maintain the high quality education, retain the fantastic teachers, provide them with enrichment opportunities, maintain the small class sizes, and all the other wonderful things that make BRSSD a destination for young families we NEED to pass Measure R. Without the money raised we are at risk for larger class sizes; fewer paraprofessionals in the classrooms; music, science, and libraries are at risk of being reduced if not cut; and fewer enrichment opportunities for our teachers and students. Currently, we aren't even able need to keep up with technology at every school and in every classroom for every child. It is sooo important to stand as a community to support our children and parents and teachers and the community and pass Measure R. It will do nothing but continue to increase our property values as BRSSD will continue to be a destination for families. $174 per year in exchange for thousands of dollars in increased property value is an amazing return on investment. Our children are the future, let's invest in them so they can care for us. Thank you!
