Can't Fight City Hall (Over the Holidays Anyway)
City Hall and other city departments will be closed Dec. 26-Jan. 2.

If you need a permit to start that remodel project, or want to register for a Parks and Recreation winter class, it's best to get down to City Hall before Christmas.
City administrative offices will close from Dec. 26, 2011 through Jan. 2, 2012. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. The following offices will be closed:
- City Clerk
- City Manager
- Community Development
- Finance (including business licenses)
- Human Resources
- Information Services
- Permit Center (including building inspections)
- Recreation Administration
Police and fire emergency services will be fully operational. For emergencies, call 9-1-1. For non-emergency police and fire matters, call 595-7400.

The Belmont Senior and Community Center and Belmont Community Learning Center (child care) will be closed during this period. Emergency Contact Information for other city departments is available through the police dispatch unit at 595-7400.
