A classic story re-imagined into a funny and fabulous musical, Once Upon a Mattress opens the first week of February here at Carlmont Performing Arts Center. From Thursday to Saturday February 5th, 6th, and 7th at 7:00 pm and Sunday February 8th at 2 pm, Carlmont students will take you back to the medieval days, with a king who can’t speak, an over-protective queen, a prince who desperately wants a princess, lords and ladies behaving, well, not as lords and ladies should, a few courtly surprises, and many, many mattresses!! Accompanied by a live Carlmont student orchestra, the cast will sing, dance, and tell the tale that will keep you in stitches. Join the merriment and get your seats now!
