On Saturday, December 14, from 1pm to 4pm, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Belmont will be hosting a Christmas for Kids Winter Bible Camp. The 1 day afternoon camp will let the children focus on the most important parts of Christmas that can so easily get lost in the hustle and bustle of this chaotic season. In stories, songs, crafts, and even snacks, everyone will be reminded of the love God has for us, demonstrated most clearly in sending his Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of the world, beginning in Bethlehem's manger.
The camp is offered free of charge to members of Gloria Dei, school families of our grade school, and to the broader Peninsula community. Please register by Sunday, December 8 to help us plan for the number of children that will be coming.
Parents, feel free to use this as a time to get some things done or just have some downtime yourself. Alternatively, parents are more than welcome to join their children for all the activities of the day and share the joy of God's love as a family on that Saturday afternoon.
