CPR and First Aid Class Offered in Belmont
Belmont residents are encouraged to attend a First Aid and CPR class on Feb. 19 at the Belmont-San Carlos Fire Station 14.

Imagine you're at a restaurant and someone starts to choke.
What would you do?
The Belmont-Redwood Shores Fire Department is offering a First Aid/CPR training class to prepare residents for such an emergency, as well as a number of others.

The class, which is being held at 9 a.m. on Feb. 19, costs $50. Participants will learn how to use a defibrillator and perform CPR, as well as learn the proper First Aid assessment and techniques that meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
The class will take place at the Belmont-San Carlos Fire Station 14, located at 911 Granada St. in Belmont.
