Dementia Patient Who Wandered From Belmont Care Facility is Found
Police said Tuesday the woman has been found.

A woman who went missing Monday morning from a care facility in Belmont has been found, Belmont police said Tuesday.
Sixty-eight-year-old Sylvia O’Reilly was reported missing at about 11 a.m. from the Silverado Belmont Hills Memory Care Community, according to police. By Monday evening, police had issued a “silver alert” in conjunction with the CHP for the woman.
Police tweeted at 1:10 a.m. that O’Reilly has been found, according to the official Belmont police Twitter account.

“The missing person was located safe this morning in Redwood City,” San Mateo County officials later said in an email advisory. “The Belmont Police Department and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office would like all residents who responded to our request for assistance.”
