Doctors Being 'Teddy Bear Clinic' To Belmont Kids
Using teddy bears, local doctors showed children the importance of health.

From Dignity Health: On Thursday, Jan. 25, providers from Dignity Health Sequoia Hospital and Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care visited kindergarteners at Nesbit Elementary for a Teddy Bear Clinic as part of the 2018 Great Kindness Challenge.

Students learned about the connection between kindness and healing, and that there is no need to be afraid of doctor and hospital visits, while helping their stuffed animals get several health check-ups including shots, ear-nose-throat exams, and listening to a heartbeat. Dignity Health is a presenting sponsor of the Great Kindness Challenge, which aims to foster a culture of kindness among school children across the globe.
