This is the main fundraising event for Belmont-Redwood Shores Little League. Players come to the Hit-a-thon to take 3 swings at the Marina Field. Based on the distance of their farthest of 3 hits they then collect money from their donors based on a pledged amount per foot of distance, or on a flat fee basis. Prizes are awarded to the players who collect the most money and to those who have the longest hit in each division.
