MLK Day Closings around Belmont

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday, so all federal, state, county and city offices will be closed on Monday.

Belmont City Hall: Closed on Monday.

Belmont Park and Recreation Classes: Will not be held on Monday.

Belmont Public Library: Closed on Monday.

Belmont Redwood Shores School District: All schools and district office closed on Monday.

Carlmont High School: Closed on Monday.

Notre Dame High School: Closed on Monday.

San Mateo County Community Colleges: Closed on Monday

Belmont Police Department: Administrative office closed on Monday, but will respond to calls at 595-7400.

Belmont Fire Department: Administrative office closed on Monday, but will respond to calls at 595-7492

US Postal Service: No mail delivery on Monday.

Local Banks: Closed on Monday.

SamTrans: Regular, non-school day schedule.

BART: Trains will run on the Saturday schedule on Monday.

Caltrain: Regular weekday schedule*

*The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Association of Santa Clara Valley will charter Caltrain as its “Freedom Train” Monday. The train will depart the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station at 9:30 a.m., making stops at the Sunnyvale station at 9:45 a.m., Palo Alto station at 9:59 a.m. and San Mateo station at 10:22 a.m., arriving in San Francisco at approximately 10:55 a.m.
