Nighttime Maintenance Work on Ralston Ave, Alameda de las Pulgas This Week
Pavement lane marking work will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. this Wednesday, Aug. 10 and Thursday, Aug. 11. No lane closures are expected.

Crews will be performing nighttime road work on two of Belmont's major thoroughfares this week as part of the city's ongoing 2011 Capital Pavement Maintenance Project.
The work will consist of re-striping pavement marking lines on Ralston Avenue (from El Camino Real - Cipriani Boulevard) and Alameda de las Pulgas (from Covington Road North - Covington Road South) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
City staff anticipate no full lane closures during the work, but while crews lay out crosswalks and markings, effected cross lanes will be closed for approximately five minutes. The Public Works department said noise and light caused by the roadwork will be kept to a minimum.
