Pavement Project to Cause Delays on Ralston Ave, Alameda de las Pulgas
Belmont drivers should expect delays on two of the city's busiest thoroughfares through much of August.

Belmont drivers should expect delays on two of the city's busiest thoroughfares, Ralston Avenue and Alameda de las Pulgas, beginning Friday, July 22.
The 2011 Capital Pavement Maintenance Project consists of slurry seal treatment on Ralston Avenue, Belburn Drive, Chevy Street, Alameda de las Pulgas, Longfellow Drive, Oak Knoll Drive and Terrace Drive, city staff said.
The Belburn Drive segment from Notre Dame Avenue to Academy Drive includes a 1.5 inch overlay. Prior to applying slurry seal treatment, local damaged areas will be repaired and pavement striping will be removed as necessary. Pavement striping will be re-striped after slurry seal is applied.
