Due to the remaining work on Sixth Ave., the street will remain closed until the new traffic striping has been completed.
The scope of the project, which began in July, has included reconstructing the road and adding new sidewalks along with drainage improvements, a street light upgrade and extensive landscaping. In addition, Sixth Ave. is being realigned and narrowed to slow down traffic through the area.
