We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. Through it all, Samaritan House has been here to help – keeping pace with the demand and opening up new possibilities for people living in poverty. Friday Night Happy Hour offers a casual outdoor setting for relaxing, catching up with friends, and enjoying a nice evening in San Carlos.
The menu features Neapolitan-style pizza, flame-grilled wings, Inge’s charcuterie boards, and estate-grown wines from Woodside Vineyards, blending fresh food, local wine, and live music in the Wine Garden.
LIVE MUSIC BY MEGACOUSTIC DUO
This week's live music features the MegAcoustic Duo, made up of members from The Megatones, a Bay Area favorite known for their dance grooves, silky vocals, and strong harmonies.
Their diverse repertoire blends classic rock, modern country, R&amp;B, and pop dance hits into energetic acoustic mash-ups perfect for Friday Night Happy Hour at the AutoVino Wine Garden.
The Megatones were named Best Cover Band in the Bay Area by KFOX 98.5 FM and have performed at various venues, including music festivals, charity events, weddings, corporate functions, and private parties across San Francisco.
WOOD-FIRED PIZZA AND WINGS FROM THE BUS
Inside AutoVino’s restored 1955 diner bus, Nate crafts hand-stretched Neapolitan-style pizzas using 48-hour fermented dough. The result is a light, flavorful crust with crisp edges and a tender center, perfect for fresh toppings.
Guests can enjoy crispy flame-grilled wings and AutoVino’s wood-fired pizza, paired with wines from Woodside Vineyards in the Wine Garden.

Inge’s charcuterie boards are ideal for Friday Night Happy Hour, featuring a selection of cheeses, cured meats, olives, nuts, crackers, and artisan bread for easy grazing and sharing.
