The informational session will be held on June 13.

Interested in running for office, but aren’t sure where to start?
City Clerk Terri Cook will host a forum on June 13 to provide information about becoming a candidate for offices that serve the Belmont community, including the Belmont City Council, the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District, the Sequoia Union High School District, and the Mid-Peninsula Water District.
The city clerk and city treasurer are additional elected positions that will be covered at the forum.

The nomination for all agencies opens on July 18.
The informal workshop will cover both candidate nomination and the filing process. The forum will be held at 7 p.m. on June 13 in the Emergency Operations Center at City Hall, located at 1 Twin Pines Lane.

The San Mateo County Elections Office will hold similar forums, one on July 13 at 2:00 p.m. and another on July 21 at 10:00 a.m.
