Wozniak Clings to Lead in Latest Count

As San Mateo County elections officials continue to process vote-by-mail ballots and Election Day paper ballots, they are releasing updated figures every few days at 4:30 p.m.

Today's numbers show the tight race between Belmont City Council hopefuls Christine Wozniak and Eric Reed continues.

At latest count, Wozniak has 1,734 votes to Reed's 1,719. The next scheduled release of counts is Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 4:30. With this close a count, neither candidate can declare a victory.
