Amosa said that to breathe new life into the restaurant, he incorporated new lighting with a massive chandelier as the centerpiece of the bar; new furnishings including all chairs, tables and banquettes; new fabrics and updated paint; reclaimed wood walls in the front dining space and outer patio with some of the planks painted in festive colors; renovated back patio space with a wall of succulent plants adding natural intimacy; and an upgraded sound system to accentuate the live performances of flamenco guitar music and Karaoke on Wednesdays.

Amosa is widely considered the kingpin of the vibrant Latin-dining scene in Long Beach.  With the recent acquisition of Alegria, which recently underwent a remodel and offers a new menu, the busy restaurateur now operates 3 bustling restaurants on Pine Avenue including Gaucho Grill and Agaves Kitchen and Tequila. He also owns and operates a 2nd Gaucho Grill in Brentwood.  Alegria is located at 115 North Pine Avenue.  For more information call (562) 436-3388 or visit www.alegriacocinalatina.com.
