The airport's director said he expects interest from other carriers for the landing slot. A court order limits the airport to 41 passengers flights per day, and Alaska/Horizon, Delta, JetBlue and USAirways will continue to operate their 38 daily flights, said airport director Mario Rodriguez. The airport will conduct a lottery for any interested airline seeking to add or begin service to Long Beach, CNS reported.
