The Long Beach Gas and Oil Department in a partnership with Southern California Edison Company will be offering energy rebates on a first come, first served basis.

The Long Beach City Council, on Tuesday, October 11, authorized the city manager to allow the Long Beach Gas and Oil Department to partner with the Southern California Edison Company.

The partnership will allow for energy rebates to existing customers through the Energy Upgrade California Program.

In addition, Long Beach Gas and Oil will be offering energy rebates from $320 to $1,280 to residential customers performing whole-house energy conservation projects, these projects must qualify under the Energy Upgrade California Program.

These rebates do not affect rebates offered by Southern California Edison and LA County, under the same program. So customers can take advantages of two different rebates.

But, don’t delay, Long Beach Gas and Oil Department rebates are limited, and are available on a first come, first served basis.
