Join the Progressive Slate for Online Voting Success!

In the month of November, my dog, Chowder and I worked to get votes for a Pepsi Refresh grant for a new kitchen for the scout Sea Base in Long Beach.

In scouting all the candidates with the lead in votes, we came up with several different ways to boost your voting success: Get friendly with facebook, Sing (or tweet), Email your friends daily,  have your friends vote ALL 3 ways, engage your civic and community leaders' help.  Chowder even made a pitch, went on YouTube and held his own rally of people and dogs! An animated movie was made (see here).

Early in the running, I learned of another way that would SIGNIFICANTLY boost a candidate's chances of winning a Pepsi Refresh grant.  (It turned out that this seemed applied to ANY voting grant).

That means another quarter of a million for progressive causes...and believe it or not, the last group won by just 4 votes! Thank you! Now, let's just win the Pepsi contest this month as well!

The Progressive SlateWe did it...another $200,000 raised for 7 terrific organizations in November. That brings our total to $2.1 million and all thanks to your voting! Woohoo!
