Keep on Food Truckin,' 2012

Happy New Year to all of my foodie followers out there! New year, new delicious food. Instead of hitting the gym this new year, I will be chasing down all of the food trucks that the area around Belmont Shore has to offer.

This week holds the food truck event, Lunch Truck It, that I have previously blogged to you about. This event takes place a few miles outside of Belmont Shore at roughly Redondo and Anaheim, and specifically on Coronado (just west and parallel to Redondo) behind the Walgreen's at the corner. It only happens on the first Wednesday of every month, so if you did not get to catch it last month, now is your chance! This Wednesday, January 4, seven food trucks will line Coronado to bring you all that they have to offer.

This month holds an all-star line-up of some of the best trucks out there. Like last month the Lime Truck, Grill 'Em All, the Grilled Cheese Truck, Kogi Korean BBQ, and Chip 'N Chunk will be there. For more details on those trucks you can check back to mypost. New commers like Fresh Fries and the Lobsta Truck will be joing this great group of trucks this week and I cannot be more excited!

French fries are my weakness so I hope that this truck delivers to my every need. It promises to have every toping you can think of from sweet to spicy, curly to sweet potato; this truck has it all. The Lobsta Truck is known for their delicious lobster rolls and many other seafood creations. I have never had this truck before and I am so excited to sink my teeth into all they have to offer. Remember, this event is on Coronado and Redondo right behind the Walgreen's from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Seating is limited, so get there as soon as you can. I will be bringing lots of extra stomachs with me to conquer this event with ease. Check back on Thursday to hear about my food truck crawl.
