With an extraordinary performance by Bailey, the work brings together five different musical traditions and perspectives in one extraordinary orchestral work.

James P. Johnson — Harlem Symphony A groundbreaking orchestral work by one of the pioneers of American jazz and popular music.
Gershwin — Overture from Strike Up the Band A high-energy finale filled with Gershwin’s unmistakable wit and rhythmic brilliance.
Doors open at 6PM.
