Car Found Submerged at Long Beach Dock, Driver No Where to Be Found
Divers searched the vehicle, but found no one inside. Investigators were looking into the possibility that the car was stolen.

LONG BEACH, CA - Officers responding to a report of a car possibly being pushed into the water from a dock in Long Beach early Saturday morning found the vehicle submerged, but no one was inside and all possible suspects had already left the scene.
The call came in about 2:05 a.m. and the vehicle was found in the 500 block of Queens Way Drive, according to Megan Zabel of the Long Beach Police Department.
"Upon officers' arrival, they saw a partial vehicle visible from just above the waterline," she said.

Divers searched the vehicle, but found no one inside, according to Jake Heflin of the Long Beach Fire Department.
Firefighters assisted with the vehicle recovery, he said.

Investigators were looking into the possibility that the car was stolen, Zabel said.
