Chaos Breaks Out In Fatal Strip Club Shooting
Dancers describe a scene of chaos in the aftermath of a shooting at the Fantasy Castle in Signal Hill that left one dead and two hurt.

SIGNAL HILL, CA — A shooting in the parking lot of a Signal Hill strip club Tuesday left a man dead and two women wounded, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 1:50 a.m. outside the Fantasy Castle in the 2800 block of Walnut Avenue, according to the sheriff's department and reports from the scene.
Kimberly Chavez told the Los Angeles Times she was dancing when she saw “a little commotion happening.” Then she heard the gunshots.

“Everybody was running; girls were crying. He was laid out on the floor. That’s all we know,” Chavez told the newspaper.
Authorities withheld the name of the man, who died at the scene, pending family notification. The women were hospitalized in stable condition.

"Detectives have learned that the male victim was standing in the parking lot of the gentlemen's club when he was approached by a male figure and shot several times," a sheriff's statement said. "Two females were also struck by gunfire."
