Compton Man Missing After Leaving Work in Long Beach
James Thomas Wilson is black, 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, with brown eyes. He was last seen Tuesday evening.

COMPTON, CA -- Authorities Wednesday sought public help to find a developmentally disabled man with schizophrenia who went missing while on his way to his home in Compton.
James Thomas Wilson, 47, was last seen about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday leaving his workplace in Long Beach, the sheriff's department reported.
Wilson is black, 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, with brown eyes. He is bald and wears glasses, and was wearing a blue sweatshirt and tan pants when last seen.

"Mr. Wilson is unable to care for himself," a sheriff's statement says. "His friends and caregivers are very concerned and asking for the public's assistance in located him."
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
