Thousands of Californians are still waiting for their unemployment benefits from EDD. A new computer system was recently installed and rather than speed up the processing there have been problems in processing claims for many unemployed Californians. The story has not been front page news but it is of vital importance to those who are depending on benefits to help them between jobs.
