You are never too old to spell with the best of them and taste the glory of winning a real life spelling bee. The winner of this spelling bee also takes home a cool thousand dollars - $500 to take home and $500 for the winner's favorite nonprofit organization, school, or church. Anyone 16 or older, and also a resident or student in the United States, may enter. Click here for an entry form. Doors open at 1:15 p.m., contestants should be there by 1:30 p.m. and the bee starts at approximately 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come cheer on the spellers.
Bee contestants are also invited to a pre-bee coffee break and mingle on the patio of at 12:30 p.m. The bee founder and creator, Justin Rudd will be there to buy each contestant a free coffee drink.
