Festivities at the Long Beach Shakespeare Festival begin at 2 p.m. with live music, dancing, puppet and bird shows, beautifully-costumed characters, old-fashioned children's games and face painting.
This year's selected Shakespeare work is "The Merry Wives of Windsor." Performances begin at 5:30 p.m. Bring a picnic, blankets and low-back chairs and come celebrate The Bard this summer.
