The community is invited to enjoy the Long Beach Municipal Band during its 103rd season with free outdoor summer concerts in Long Beach parks through August 3. The band’s professional musicians will focus on a different theme during each week. Each performance will end with selections from talented vocalists accompanied by the Long Beach Municipal Band's Studio Band.
The Long Beach Municipal Band is the longest running, municipal band in the country. These free concerts provide a chance for neighbors and families to gather outdoors for a relaxing evening of picnicking, entertainment and music.
The 2012 Long Beach Municipal Band concert season is made possible in part with support from the Port of Long Beach, Long Beach Gas and Oil, the Long Beach Environmental Services Bureau, the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, and Partners of Parks.
