Deadline: Ocean Art Contest

Coastal America and the Aquarium of the Pacific invite your students to participate in this year’s Ocean Art Contest. Original artwork, reflecting one of the seven Essential Principles of Ocean Literacy, will be submitted to CELCs (Coastal Ecosystem Learning Centers) around the country to complete in regional competitions. Winners from each CELC, including the Aquarium of the Pacific) will then compete in a national competition with the chance to win a trip to Washington DC in Spring 2012. Students in the following age categories are welcome to submit work:

• K-2
• 3-5
• 6-8
• High School
• Full-time college and university
