Free Double Screening at Granada Beach

In a double-feature, the Port of Long Beach’s Centennial documentary film, “Faces of the Port – Remembering 100 Years,” will be screening along with the Howard Hughes biopic, “The Aviator,” at Granada Beach this Saturday, August 27, at dusk. The screenings are free and open to the public.

The half-hour documentary, narrated by the legendary film and television actor Robert Wagner, features 100 years of Port history, treasured photos and one-of-a-kind interviews. The Long Beach waterfront also plays a prominent role in “The Aviator,” the 2004 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, which depicts Howard Hughes’ legendary 1947 Spruce Goose flight in the harbor.
