Neighbors pre-submit a true story idea to; write2Veronica@aol.com. Just 4 lines about their tale & contact info. Nite of show, we pick a few storytellers from audience too. Storytellers have 5 minutes to read or tell their story. Audience & panel of judges vote-secret ballot. Top 2 tales go to finals, best story of nite wins $100.
We just got some great judges for the Spring LB Searches show. Surf legend, international surfing competitor, and domestic Godess, Jericho Bartlow. Another judge, is stylish, artsie and artistic, Charla Howard/ Literature teacher at (one of my alma maters) Long Beach City College. Remember the audience votes too!
