The Long Beach Zombie Walk is an all-ages event featuring a ghoulish and fun all-day street fest, complete with music and film, food and drinks, vendors and art, and not one but two world record attempts - to break the record for the largest zombie walk in the world (currently held by Seattle, WA at at 4,700), and to break the record for the largest choreographed "Thriller" mass dance in the world (currently held by Brazil at 11,000)!
Gates open at Broadway and Pine Avenue at 2 p.m.where the whole family can get zombified by over 100 makeup artists, plus enjoy great food, drinks, art, vendors, tons of live music and muralists, too. Buskerfest-winner Wild Pack of Canaries will perform at 9 p.m. (more bands will be announced).
At 7 p.m., you can join Thrill The World as they lead a mass dance to Michael Jackson’s "Thriller," taking place simultaneously all over the world, with the epicenter right in downtown Long Beach!
At 8 p.m., lurch down Pine Avenue in the largest zombie walk the world has ever seen!

Afterwards, head to the separately-ticketedat the Historic Press Telegram building. Johnny Vatos’ Tribute to Halloween (with original members of Oingo Boingo) will play live. Gates will open at 8 p.m. so you can enjoy food trucks and beer gardens, plus the "World's Sexiest Zombie" contest with celebrity guest judge, Rena Riffel. Proceeds will benefit the Long Beach Cinematheque, Friends of Long Beach Animals and Special Olympics Southern California.
