Descend to the deepest place on
Earth, explore the ocean floor and conduct experiments with DEEPSEA CHALLENGER
Expedition team member, Bruce Sutphen.

Bruce will discuss the anatomy of
a 21st Century full ocean depth manned underwater vehicle, the DEEPSEA
CHALLENGER.  From its one-of-a-kind
vertical attitude to its innovative materials, the craft is a showcase of
engineering innovation.

As the U.S Project Manager for
the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER, he took part in the fabrication, assembly and operation
of the submersible.  Bruce was also a
member of the successful dive team to the Mariana and New Britain Trench’s.
